Developed by the team behind TMF Rock Festival, Offset was born out of an event with ten years of history. TMF started as a small event and grew into an 8000-capacity festival. It was decided to re-launch the event with a new name, a better location and a bigger offer.

A brand new event held at the end of the summer festival season, this exciting event is organised by Graham Wrench, ex manager/promoter of the infamous Leadmill in Sheffield and now manager of Richard Hawley and The Hosts and part of ‘The Northern Monkeys’ music management collective, including Arctic Monkeys.

Tom McRae is now confirmed to perform at the fabulous Lake of Stars Festival, which takes place in Malawi, deep in the heart of Africa, and runs from Friday 10th to Sunday 12th October 2008. Channel 4 are now planning to film the event.

In one of the most interesting collaborations of the year, Tony is currently recording a new album with production from Richard Hawley, and on the 20th of May 2008 he performed one of the songs (called 'Danger Is A Woman In Love') onstage at the Royal Albert Hall during Hawley's show.
